Very nice system in my 2009 Chevy Malibu - gives digital readout for each tire - also, warning light comes on if pressure falls low. Wife's 2005 Honda Pilot has TPMS also, but does not give digital read out, just lights up a specific tire on vehicle schematic if low. My first car to have TPMS was a 1991 Corvette - like the ABS, the first generation systems were a neat feature, but not always the most effective. A light would come on indicating "low tire pressure" when a tire read low, but you had to manually check which tire. Problem is, the sensors were easily damaged and expensive to repair/replace. Eventually, I had the warning bulb removed because the system regularly had an issue and it became expensive to maintain.
