Nice wheels! Unique £1.6m porcelain Bugatti Veyron turns heads during 1st ever appearance in Britain

Mail Online -- Two months ago it was the one-off exclusive supercar which was spotted on Europe's roads for the first time when pictured showed on the streets of Paris.
Now after wowing car lovers with its stunning appearance and specification in the French capital, the £1.6m porcelain Bugatti Veyron L'or Blanc has been spotted on British soil for the first time.
The spectacular 253mph, 1,000bhp 'White Gold' car, was spotted outside the five-star Dorchester Hotel in London's swanky Mayfair.

The one-off Bugatti can do 0-62mph in just 2.7 seconds, and has an exterior featuring filler caps, badges and wheel caps made from specially constructed porcelain.
Its unique appearance saw car enthusiasts and experts branding the vehicle the 'world's fastest tea set'.

What's the point of Porcelain filler caps, badges and wheel caps. Usually porcelain is heavy & breaks easily if struck. The style, paint & engine may be fantastic, but what good is being able to reach over 250 mph. Even on the Audubon that's ridiculous. German autobahns have no general speed limit, but the advisory speed limit (Richtgeschwindigkeit) is 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph). Like the Salt Flats are the only place you could open it up in the USA. Besides i don't think it could be made legal for sale in the USA. EVEN IF YOU PUT SOME TYPE GOVERNOR TO LIMIT THE SPEED IT COULD BE REMOVED.

At that speed you could cross Ohio on the turnpike in just over an hour of actual driving. The problem is you'd be making LARGE donations to many communities in the form of speeding tickets. 258 MPH still isn't faster than the radio.

My first impression was, "Who would want to buy a zebra for that much money." If it were my car, the first thing I would do is get a paint job... but then I'd be defeating the purpose of why the designers came up with the zebra look... to get attention.

1000bhp and still have to do 55mph, if it's on US road. But than with this kind of money a few tickets wouldn't matter.
